For many product workflows, the customer determines why and how call data is processed, while Fonaro provides the service that captures, summarises, routes and stores that information.
The exact controller and processor roles may depend on the customer agreement, workspace configuration and applicable law.
Types of data
Product data may include caller names, phone numbers, call recordings where enabled, transcripts, summaries, booking details, sentiment labels, lead values, routing notes and integration events.
Customers should avoid asking Fonaro to process unnecessary sensitive information unless their use case, notices and safeguards support it.
Sub-processors and transfers
Fonaro may rely on infrastructure, communications, AI, storage and support providers to deliver the service. Sub-processor use should be reviewed as the product and customer requirements evolve.
